We are products of our decisions. By starting a business or deciding to work for yourself, you are accepting in one way or another that your salary will be based on results. This comes with the responsibility of finding ways to execute in the face of a lot of stress and being strategic with the time you invest when organizing your schedule. But, as we all know, life happens, problems happen, and our ability to be rational in times of high stress is compromised. I often see that many leaders feel lost when starting a project, especially if to generate income they have to sell something and that is why I want to give you 3 tips:
- When you lead a project or start a business, the only one responsible is you. Stop looking for blame and start designing solutions. The speed of solving is your best ally. The time you spend complaining or crying is time you waste and can use to learn, evolve and become the best version of yourself.
- Don’t be romantic or emotional with money. I’m talking about if for now, to even the fight, you have to sell used things that you no longer use in your house through online auction sites or flea markets, DO IT. Do not you like your work? Focus on creating a plan to quit. I call this “the peace of mind plan” and there you establish daily actions to achieve your goal in a way that brings peace both financially and mentally to your life. What made you grow at one point is not what will make you great now, especially if you are an entrepreneur, since technology eliminated geography. Your mentality should be to think local, but grow global.
- Competition only lives in your mind. RUN YOUR RACE without caring what others do. The time you invest studying people in your industry is time and energy that you take away from your project. SPEED in these times of change is your best ally. Eliminate your limiting mindset, put your head down and WORK consistently with intentional action, but MASSIVELY. BELIEVE ME, you will see the results in your business.
You are capable of achieving everything you seek to achieve. You have to understand that this difficult process is part of experiencing progress. Embracing change is essential when we want to grow. Knowing how to react to adversity is just one more step towards seeing yourself in a better position in the future. I believe in your ability to make things happen. Apply the advice, make the decision to start today and we will be here in 2023 supporting you with each writing published on this blog. We believe in you!
