Changes in routine and pace of life throw us all off. It is very common to feel that at any moment the demands of life can destroy your plans or sabotage your goals and dreams. Although your thoughts and emotions make you feel that way, the reality is different. You were a victim of circumstances and you need to organize yourself better. One of the times that most affects families is the famous return to school, although some parents receive a break since they will have their children partially at home. The reality is that time flies and if you are not strategic with it you will never be able to focus on results every time you take action. Next, I want to share with you 3 strategies to see results in the goals you set for yourself:

  1. Take INTENTIONAL actions daily, but focus on living one day at a time and have your priorities clear. Don’t let the uncertain future overwhelm you. Taking intentional action will help you achieve more in less time.
  2. You have to make time for yourself. Turn off your cell phone! Put it on silent when eating lunch and activate the do not disturb when sleeping. Doing this will keep you at an optimal energy level and avoid draining yourself, since you are rested and can focus on being productive in your daily tasks.
  3. Create a morning and evening routine. The night before, leave the things you need prepared and ready for the next day. It is not optional, it is necessary, since life happens and if the alarm does not ring or some situation occurs, your productivity is not affected because everything you need is ready. Beware of the urgent villain. What is urgent for others is not necessarily urgent for you. Don’t fall into the trap of a crisis that others created. Prepare the lunch box, iron the clothes you are going to wear, leave the packages ready and have an idea of what you are going to have for breakfast in your mind or leave it written on a note on the refrigerator. This will help you have fewer decisions and more intentional action in the morning. Believe me, in the future you will thank me.

You can do anything you set your mind to. Start with one habit first and when you master it you move on to the next. You can work on each strategy weekly and continue adding to your lifestyle as you see progress. Self-discipline is crucial in times of change, it helps you fall in love with the process so you can focus on the progress that we all like to see every day. Although sometimes we have bad days, progress makes us see that, although emotionally or mentally we are not where we want, our persistence can lead us to achieve everything we have dreamed of. Believe in yourself! You will see that in this return to school you will be able to focus on results and materialize your goals, but it all starts when you believe in yourself.
